Amazon is looking for a highly motivated Digital Associate for Ring Data Engineering Services, Operations, IT & Support Engineering. In this role, you will perform annotation and data evaluation tasks across multi-modal data sets to enhance system performance and machine learning tools.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform annotation-related activities involving areas such as audio, image, and video data using internal tools and software with predefined instructions.
• Participate in data collection tasks when appropriate scripts and instructions are provided.
• Carefully follow specified procedures while strictly maintaining confidentiality and compliance requirements.
• Apply strong language skills, grammar knowledge, and linguistic rules to ensure generated text adheres to proper grammar, syntax, and appropriate language usage.
• Maintain high internal quality of the processes by performing regular quality audits and verification.
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations consistently.
• Track questions or issues related to annotation and data collection and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Track daily task completion status using recommended tools and provide individual status reports.
• Assist in testing new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and machine learning data tools.
• Provide specific & timely feedback to streamline existing processes and help the team achieve consistent results with high quality.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Preferred Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Language Skills: Strong command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
• Field Preference: Background in linguistics, creative writing, computational linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to evaluate and interpret data to improve the performance of systems and models.
• Technical Familiarity: Good familiarity with the Windows desktop environment and standard tools such as MS Word, Excel, web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), etc.
• Work Ethic: High level of energy, proactive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
